Rae Sremmurd Freestyle on Capital XTRA with Tim Westwood

Rae Sremmurd was recently the talk of a big conversation on Hot 97 after Complex named their debut album SremmLife one of the top 3 albums of 2015. Not sitting well with Ebro, he went on to saying Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi probably didn’t partake in most, if not all, of the writing of songs featured on the album. The duo make their first appearance since it all went down and they do so while in London where they linked up with Tim Westwood and kicked some rhymes for the London DJ on Capital XTRA.

The freestyle lasted for a little over twenty-minutes and actually heard Jxmmi calling out the Hot 97/Beats 1 personality in one of his lines saying: “nigga hatin’ on me and I call them hater niggas Ebro,” and a few other lines you’ll hear throughout, including a “fuck you.” A light jab it was, but the fact that the duo went back and forth for that length of time should speak for itself as it was pretty impressive and shuts down Ebro’s accusations that they don’t write their own rhymes or at least not all of them.
