Rae Sremmurd have had the streets and the clubs on smash with their singles “By Chance,” “Over Here” and “Look Alive” for the past few months. All in anticipation for their upcoming SremmLife 2 album. Following their new video for “Look Alive” last week, the duo was prepared for their sophomore studio album to officially make an impact later this week on June 24th, but unfortunately that’s not happening.
The Ear Drummers artist had to delay the release of SremmLife 2 and push it back until August 12th. The news comes just a day after Jxmmi and Swae Lee teased that they might have a collaboration with Rihanna in the works, which we could maybe see the duo release in the coming weeks and possibly be on the final version of the album.
That remains to be seen, but just know we could see a new single from Rae Sremmurd dropping sometime soon to compensate for the push back.
