As is the case with many talent competitions across the world, the final goal is turn the winner into a superstar by selling millions of records, but not always the most worthy get the shine they truly deserve. UK singer/songwriter Rebecca Ferguson made her mark as a runner-up in the UK X-Factor back in 2010, and her debut album Heaven gave a sense of maturity through somewhat of a soul-pop-blues take within the now multi-platinum release. Three years later, the high-achieving artist is back with a brand new single titled “I Hope,” showcasing what she has been known for in a personal aspect, giving listeners every right to look out for her upcoming Freedom full-length on December 2nd.
