In early 2003, The Diplomats were preparing for the release of their platinum-certified debut album, Diplomatic Immunity. Dipset officially had the single ready to take over the streets with “Gangsta Music” and used this project as their final tool of promotion for the official album dropping in a few weeks after Vol. 4. Not too many rappers used Jigga and Bleeks “Coming Of Age II,” rebranding it as “Streets Is Watching.”
The streets were talking about internal problems within Roc-A-Fella, but the Dips restrained from starting drama within the camp, due to their respect for Dame and Hoffa. Shout outs to that rare freestyle over “Money x Cash x Hoes.”
