Besides a few Instagram posts and nothing but daggers on wax, Remy Ma hasn’t spoke much on her beef with Nicki Minaj. Everyone wants to know when Nicki is actually going to respond, but Remy, the one who’s got the rap world running around in circles, is not part of that club. She and Fat Joe were up on Wendy Williams to speak on their Plata O Plomo album, coming home from prison and of course, “shETHER.”
As far as why she went at Nicki’s neck, Remy said it has nothing to do with her subliminals on records. She actually went at her because of some of the behind-the-scenes stuff going on with them. Apparently, Nicki has been trying to blackball her from shows and receiving awards, so Remy took it upon herself to respond. She wasn’t fucking with Minaj taking food from her kids mouth and got tired of her popping off on tracks and nobody responding.
Remy also revealed that plenty of people have been coming up to her and feeding her information about Nicki, but she hasn’t used all of that firepower yet.
By the end of the interview, Wendy realized that Remy was wearing an outfit for a funeral, which was another subliminal at Nicki. The nail in the coffin was when she said she would not speak ill of the dead, to Wendy’s dismay. That’s #TeamPetty for you. We see you Remy.
