It’s been a couple of months since we got our last fixing of Mass Appeal’s infamous Rhythm Roulette series. For the latest edition, we see Rsonist and Wayno also known as platinum production duo The Heatmakerz, who made their name with the astonishing work with The Diplomats. As usual, the beat-maker is tasked with grabbing three records at random and heading back to the studio to do what they do best.
Once there, Rsonist made his selection of records to chose from (he used two, not the usual one) and chopped them up into a sample. The samples used for the beat were Handsome Boy Modelling School’s “The Truth” and an audio excerpt from Howdy Doody. After wrapping up the beat, rapper Fred The Godson joined and dropped a few bars over the final product.
