We’ve been rocking with Ric Wilson‘s music for a minute, and now he’s taking things a step further by signing a deal with Innovative Leisure (home to BADBADNOTGOOD, Nosaj Thing). The Chicago rapper has announced that he’ll be releasing an EP called BANBA on May 18th, and he’s giving people a taste with the first single, “Split.”
“I wrote ‘Split’ in the middle of a relationship that was going south,” he says about the Sen Morimoto-featured record. “The song is about how sometimes the best decisions you’ll make in life are the ugliest & hardest, but the healthiest for you.”
