Ric Wilson first got on our radar last year leading up to his excellent Soul Bounce EP. Not to our surprise, the Chicago rapper delivered again in April with more upbeat sounds and positivity with his second EP titled Negrow Disco.
Today, he’s back with a video for one of the standout tracks, “Hang Loose,” which features an introduction from Public Enemy’s own, Chuck D. Like the laid-back nature of the song itself, the visual finds Ric hanging out in the sun, from empty fields to roofs of houses. He directed it himself, too.
