Rick Ross found a new home

Rick Ross has been with Def Jam Records since signing with them in 2005. Where he released a total of eight studio albums, four of which went certified gold and has amassed over 3 million records sold over a ten-year span. But their partnership recently came to an end last year and Rozay has been looking for a new place to call home ever since. That search came to an end last night when he Maybach Music Group CEO and his new family, Epic Records announced the news of his signing to the label.

His Maybach Music Group is still a part of Atlantic Records with the sole artists split between both Atlantic (Meek Mill, Omarion, Wale, Rockie Fresh, Stalley, Fat Trel and Tracy T) and Def Jam (Gunplay and Triple C’s). It’s unknown on whether they’ll join the boss over at Epic Records, but only time will tell. Until then, Ross has now joined the likes of Future, Travi$ Scott, Jidenna, Yo Gotti, Diddy and others at Epic.
