The Roots and Bilal: Tiny Desk Concert

Well, this is something special. The legendary Roots crew recently stopped by NPR Music to put on their own ‘Tiny Desk Concert,’ and the outcome was crazy.

Instead of putting together a multi-song setlist, they simply brought “It Ain’t Fair,” a song from the Detroit original motion picture soundtrack, and stretched it out into an insane 12-minute performance. Questlove led the introduction with the full band, before Black Thought and longtime collaborator Bilal entered the scene, which ended up with 10 people deep behind the desk.

It’s a must watch.
