Rory Fresco made some noise earlier this year when his single “Lowkey” took off, and eventually got a Oakland remix from G-Eazy. That was just the start of it all. The Kansas City rapper would then go on to release his debut project Mad World. Though he’s been quiet since, Rory has continued to grind and plot his next move. Before the year comes to a close, Fresco returns to let loose one last track titled “Lazy” featuring Gizzle. The track was set to appear on his debut, but was left off and didn’t make the final cut.
If you’re wondering why this track sounds familiar, it’s because Tip also has a song called “Lazy” on his US or Else: Letter to the System album with some features. Turns out, the song was originally Rory’s but maybe the Atlanta rapper didn’t want a track this fire go to waste and used it.
