The buzz for OVO affiliate Roy Woods has been only growing since the release of his project Exis, which included “Drama” with Drake. Now that people are more familiar with the Brampton, Ontario artist, he is releasing a new effort titled Waking At Dawn. Last month, he was a guest on OVO Radio and premiered a new single titled “Gwan Big Up Yourself” that was the jump start to his new mixtape.
For those who have been waiting for when the project would drop, Roy has announced on Twitter that it’s coming on Friday, July 1.
