Pop princess Selena Gomez has been teasing the world with sneak previews of her upcoming return single “Good For You,” a collaboration with A$AP Rocky, for a couple weeks now. With her second studio album in the works and expected to arrive sometime later this year, the singer is ready to make a big impact when the new single is set to officially release on June 22. But from the powers that be, which is the internet, the single has surfaced for fans to hear a bit sooner than expected.
Co-written by Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels, the song is produced by Sir Nolan, Nick Monson, ASAP Rocky and Hector Delgado and is very much different from everything you’ve heard from the 22-year-old in the past. The sultry and sensual single definitely has the sounds to rock the radio airwaves this summer.
The music video, which was directed by Sophie Muller, was shot earlier this month and is set to arrive in the coming weeks following the singles release on iTunes next week.
