With the “Hands To Myself” buzz only getting started, Selena Gomez is trying to crack the Top 5 on Billboard Hot 100 with her “Same Old Love” single, but has been unsuccessful thanks to her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, who has been dominating the charts. So far, she has peaked at No. 6, but maybe a remix with Fetty Wap does the trick.
Zoo Wap is no stranger to having the mainstream charts in a chokehold, conquering for much of last year with smashes like “Trap Queen,” “My Way” and “679.”
Although the song is as pop as you can get, the New Jersey rapper adds that thug twang that Selena needs to balance out her innocent image. Regardless, this is a smash. It might not dethrone Adele or Justin, but she can attempt to get to Top 3 by the end of the month.
