Adele & Beyoncé have been exposed – sort of
Sia is currently readying the release of her forthcoming album, This is Acting, which is due out January 29th. While fans of the Australian singer and songwriter have didn’t have to wait too long for a follow-up to her 1000 Forms of Fear LP, she opened up with Billboard about why she initially took lengthy amounts of time to release solo material in recent years.
While she’s curated hits for Katy Perry among other A-listers, Sia shared rare insight on the experience she has when meeting up with both Adele and Beyoncé.
On Queen Bey, Sia went to cite the experience as “a writing camp, essentially. She flies us all in and puts us all up. We all live in a house together — like five producers and five topline writers.”
She went to open up on how she’s more dominant in the studio for her own studio sessions and creative processes, but took a backseat and humble approach to working with the two greats.
Throughout the creation process of Adele’s 25, Sia detailed her experience with the London signer saying, “Well, she’s extremely talented, so it was really easy. It’s funny because both of us are quite dominant because we are both skillful at our jobs of songwriting or singing.”
