You thought Sonder were having a break because of Brent Faiyaz’s solo success? Not a chance.
The trio, made up of Faiyaz on vocals and Atu and Dpat on production, are back this week with a new single called “One Night Only.” A short demo version of the track dropped last year, but now the whole thing is finally out. “I’m flying out for the weekend, I’ll be calling you when I’m ’round, I wanna see you face to face,” Faiyaz sings. “And I don’t give a damn about your boyfriend, he can have you after I go.”
Faiyaz released his debut album Sonder Son in October, and was Grammy-nominated for featuring on GoldLink’s “Crew.”
