Today, Oakland’s own Souls of Mischief released their sixth studio album There Is Only Now, five years after their last project, Montezuma’s Revenge. The concept LP, described as a mix between 93 ’Til Infinity, The Low End Theory and De La Soul Is Dead, contains 22 tracks entirely produced by Adrian Younge, with features from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Scarub and William Hart.
