It seems like all of the members of The Internet are going solo right now, because not only did Syd and Matt Martians drop their solo efforts, but so is Steve Lacy. The guitarist’s Steve Lacy’s Demo album is due out February 24 (yes, this Friday) and if you were curious as to what it may sound like, “Dark Red” should give you some direction. The track sounds more throwback and indie than his fellow bandmates, clearly separating himself from the rest.
