Steve Lacy is one The Internet’s secret weapons. The 18-year old got a Grammy nomination last year for his work on Ego Death, but the group’s members have since then decided to drop some solo projects. Lacy is one of them, who released his short but sweet and appropriately titled Steve Lacy’s Demo in February to show just how he gets down on his own. People are already calling him a mix of Frank Ocean and Mac DeMarco.
Now, he’s back with a loose track titled “Moron” that lives up to the hype. “This song didn’t make the demo but my friends and I all agree this is one the world should here so,” he says about the release.
