Throughout the time you spent listening to the project, you could hear the early Cash Money and B.G. influence in almost each and every song featured. You can credit that to the fact that he’s the son of the currently incarcerated and former Cash Money Records rapper B.G.
As a follow-up to his 2014 effort, the young New Orleans rhyme-slinger is back with Son of a Gangsta Vol. 2, which serves as a sequel to the previously mentioned mixtape. On the 14-track mixtape, you’ll hear the Jet Life affiliate rhyming over beats by Mannie Fresh, Mr. Rogers, Woosky, $hop With Ken and more. While teaming up with the likes of his Jet Life cohorts, Curren$y, Roddy and Corner Boy P as well as Paul Wall, B.G., Soulja Slim and others.
