Last week, reports surfaced that Tay-K had officially been sent to solitary confinement on 23-hour lockdown. After being found with an illegal cellphone and getting into an altercation, Tay was moved from Tarrant County Jail to Lon Evans Corrections Center, a maximum-security facility.
Now even more bad news for 18-year-old emerges this weekend, as a second woman has entered into an agreement with prosecutors to testify against her co-defendants.
According to Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Ariana Bharrat, must testify in the upcoming capital murder trial against Tay-K and two co-defendants, in exchange for a 25-year prison sentence.
The other woman, Megan Holt, has also agreed to the same deal for a 20-year prison sentence. Tay is currently facing aggravated robbery charge in Tarrant County from a May 2017 incident, where a 65-year-old man was attacked and robbed. He also is accused of a capital murder in an April 2017 event, where a 23-year-old photographer was robbed and killed.
We’ll keep you updated on what happens in the coming weeks of this case(s).
