Tay-K Charged with Another Felony After Hiding Phone & Fight Altercation

It looks like no bail for now. . .

Already facing two life sentences for double murders, Tay-K may have found himself in an even worse situation. The 18-year-old rapper, who’s now being trialed as an adult for the two incidents, has unfortunately picked up another felony charge while in jail. Prior to this news, Tay was in a medium security jail with general population, so he could make time pass by faster.

Well, after a random search, officers allegedly found a contraband tucked inside his underwear, which was a phone. He tried to flush the device down a toilet, but was unsuccessful in that attempt and soon got into a fight with one of the jailers. After that altercation, he was moved from Tarrant County Jail to Lon Evans Corrections Center, a maximum-security facility.

Right now, Tay-K is on 23-hour lockdown in solitary confinement and only gets one hour a day to leave his room for the gym. In the new case, he has bond set at $10,000 and has been held without bond since July of last year for the two previously mentioned murders.

It’s unclear how this will affect his current bail situation, but it’s not looking good.
