Though Tee Grizzley has been blowing up ever since “First Day Out” broke him into the scene, there has been a lot of set backs and hurdles he’s had to jump to even come this far. Producer Helluva, Saba Baby, JR, JB all talk about his plight to the top of the rap game and how parole has affected him in his career.
Tee says he’s counting his blessings because he’s come so far and has been in situations where he could have gotten clipped. His mom and little brother also check in with him throughout the film, to give him inspiration and to talk about the good times in their childhood.
At the end of the day, him being on parole gave Grizzley structure and helped him do work in the community, something he wouldn’t have done if not for that.
