Day one kicked off at SOBs & featured two showcases. Up first, was emerging Brooklyn lyricist Joey Bada$$, followed by DC’s own Fat Trel, who’s size will throw you off at how energetic his performances are. Headlining the first half was Smoke DZA. Fresh off the “He has Risen” tour and KONY mixtape release, Mr. Rugby Thompson lived up to the “King of New York” hype w/ a stellar performance.
