Last night, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, ABC aired the 2016 American Music Awards. The event, which served as the last major awards show for the year, was hosted by Jay Pharoah and Gigi Hadid, saw nearly every major name walking away with an award. While Justin Bieber and Drake grabbed four and three AMAs, respectively, the talk of the night was Selena Gomez’ speech, as well as Ariana Grande winning the biggest prize of the event – best artist of the year.
