The Lyrical Legacy of DJ DMD’s “25 Lighters”

This year marks the 20th anniversary of DJ DMD’s legendary Texas song, 25 Lighters.” Since its release in 1998, the Port Arthur rapper’s phrase has been used in multiple tracks over recent years from Lil Wayne, Drake, Travis Scott, A$AP MOB, and Kendrick Lamar among many more.
