#TheShowMustBePaused #BlackLivesMatter

Today (June 2nd), OnSMASH will be pausing the usual posts to observe Black Out Tuesday, in response to the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and many other black citizens at the hands of police.

Black music and culture is at the heart of what we do at OS, and we stand with the black community in fighting against racism and equality across America and the world. We’re using the 24-hour pause to reflect and share links, in order to help families, sign petitions demanding justice, contribute to bail funds, and other ways to support black lives. What happened to George Floyd and countless others is a tragedy and in 2020, these types of acts of injustice should not be happening.

Whether you’re protesting peacefully in your city, donating to the causes that best fit your beliefs or raising awareness on laws that need to change and action that needs to be reformed; this is our stand against these issues plaguing our communities.
