We’re back with The Weekend Playlist, and now we can assure you it’ll be here to stay. Whether it’s a dry week or a stacked one, we’ll give you something to ride out to in the following days every Friday for the rest of all summer sixteen.
There are a lot of familiar faces on this week’s playlist such as Curren$y, Ty Dolla $ign, and Juicy J, but we also sprinkled in a few new faces like DVSN, (Views is out now, so everyone will be hip to them soon) Atlanta newcomer Dae Dae, and Snakeships who are stationed out of London. There’s an OG Big K.R.I.T loosie in the middle somewhere, along with the return of Nipsey Hu$$le, who got help from Young Thug on his latest single. We also ended things with Future’s “Purple Reign” because, well, RIP Prince.
