The Canada Music Awards ceremony, known as the JUNO Awards, was held at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta last night. Among the performers was Alessia Cara, Shawn Mendes, Dear Rouge, Lights and more. The Weeknd, who took home five awards on the night, was also among the long list of performers and he treated the crowd with a cut from his latest album, Beauty Behind The Madness.
Instead of the usual songs we caught him perform at past events, Abel gave performances of the single “Aquainted” before he got into the popular record “Might Not,” where he was joined by XO’s Belly to assist him. Both performances of course had the crowd standing on their feet and soaking up every moment of it.
