Tinashe Reportedly No Longer Signed to RCA Records

Career saved. .

Last summer, Tinashe called out her major label for not properly promoting her JOYRIDE album – including enduring multiple delays. After having her career hindered in the past, with her previous singles allegedly being sent to bigger artists in the urban world, it looks like she is finally free.

This weekend, fans of Tinashe discovered that she was no longer on her label’s page, where a message read “Error 404 – Page Not Found.” Over the holidays, she posted this same message, which many began alluding to her label status. On JOYRIDE, the singer had major contributions, ranging from Future, French Montana, Offset, Ty Dolla $ign and Hitmaka.

However, the album failed to perform commercially, debuting at no. 58 on Billboard; and generating only 9,800 album units in its first week. We’re assuming this was the final straw for her stay with that label, as she’s now looking to reboot things elsewhere. Look for details regarding her next move to surface in the coming months. Let us know in the comments what you think.
