Tory Lanez is gearing up for a big year. From signing to Benny Blanco’s Mad Love and Interscope Records, to hitting the road later this year with Young Thug on the HY!£UN35 Tour, and giving listeners his first major single with “Say It,” Lanez is ready to introduce the world to his sound. The Toronto singer-songwriter, producer and rapper recently stopped by the Shade 45 studios to have a sit down with Sway Calloway on Sway In The Morning.
During their discussion, Lanez spoke on his comparisons to Drake, why he chose not to try and sign with his fellow hometown rep, his contributions to Meek Mill’s DWMTM album and much more. Tory Lanez also made sure to show off his skills behind the microphone, ripping apart 2Pac’s “Ambitionz Az a Ridah” instrumental for a 4-minute off-the-top freestyle and didn’t disappoint.
