Travi$ Scott Talks GRAMMYs Snub after Contributing to Nominated Projects

La’Flame talks his early career moments & pioneering the future

Even with his Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight sophomore effort becoming his first ever no. 1 album on Billboard over the summer, Travi$ Scott is still a little disgruntled with his early career transitions. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper met up with XXL Magazine to shoot for their upcoming winter issue and talked his love for past iconic covers he saw as a child.

In the midst of discussing what inspires him for his creation process, he cited seeing certain artists and crowd reactions for helping his career go in different direction – in comparison to what’s out.

Speaking of which, La’Flame stated on socially media that he was hurt by not receiving a single solo GRAMMY nomination earlier this month.

Although he’s featured on nomiated projects from Rihanna, Justin Bieber and DJ Khaled, Travi$ still wanted some notoriety for his career by the masses. We’re assuming this will inspire Scott to potentially make his best project to date, when he releases his Astroworld LP in 2017.
