Smoke Sum, Drink Sum, Pop Sum. . . .
Yesterday, the Recording America revealed nominations for their upcoming 59th GRAMMY Awards. With Beyoncé, Drake, Kanye West, Rihanna and Chance the Rapper leading the pack with nominations, Travi$ Scott was a little disgruntled about not receiving a single nom.
Moments after the information went public, Epic Records A&R, Sickamore, was in the studio with his label artist, who sent out a caption “Reading the Grammy nominations like…”. While La’Flame opted to not go public with his disdain for the show, he commented on the picture saying, “So hurt man.”
With his Young Thug-assisted “Pick Up The Phone” single serving as one of the year’s biggest urban hits, maybe this snub transitions his focus to the third studio album, AstroWorld.
