New York rapper Twigg Martin is still trying to find the best time to drop off his long-awaited Good Morning America mixtape. Earlier this year Martin looked to be in the process of doing so with the Royce Da 5’9″ assisted single “Talk Is Cheap,” and its follow up “Where I Came Up” with Nathaniel serving as the lead and promotional singles, but months went by without anything new releasing.
Twigg re-emerged early last month with a string of freestyles and today, he’s back with a brand new visual for his two year old track “Could Have Been Him,” produced by Meddy Fox. In the new video, directed by CloudKicka Piff, Twigg Martin is on a retrospective vibe, sharing stories of the past of homies he’s lost to either jail or death, thinking that it could have been him.
