From listening to Vince Staples‘ music (especially his Big Fish Theory album), you’d think he had a diverse music taste and enjoyed listening to stuff all the time. However, it turns out he doesn’t do much listening at all.
“I don’t really like to listen to music,” he told GQ in a new interview. “I really don’t like to read. Yeah, I’m not a reader. I listen to music when people I like put an album out. I’ll listen to it. But I don’t really listen to music. I never really read. I’ve never read a book outside of school. Not that there’s anything wrong with reading, it’s just not my entertainment preference.”
Instead, Vince finds fun in being outside a lot.
