Vince Staples is getting ready to drop his new album Big Fish Theory on June 23rd. To promote it, he stopped by The Daily Show this week for an interview, where he sat down with Trevor Noah to speak his mind, and lay down some random facts. “As far as with my music I don’t wanna ever tell somebody exactly what it’s about because it’s whatever it means to them,” he says about the project.
He also talks about the betta fish’s two-week lifespan, and why he described the new album as “afro-futurism”: “I like saying stuff about black people to white people.”
