After an short hiatus, Montreal rapper Wasiu made his return with a music video taken from his MTLiens EP. That was just the start of his comeback as he’s back today with his new song “No Jumper.” In addition to catching the shots being attempted at Wasiu and his crew, the inspiration behind the song was a story that Jeff Van Gundy about Pat Riley running into Al Cowlings, who is mostly known as being the man behind the wheel during OJ Simpson’s infamous Bronco car chase. An incident that took place during game 5 of the NBA Finals in 1994, and AC shared to Pat Riley that the reasoning why he was driving slow was because OJ wanted to hear the outcome of game 5. Finding this story hilarious, Wasiu decided to make a song based around that and “No Jumper” was the outcome.
