Beyoncé is set to join Coldplay as this year’s entertainment at Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show. Ahead of her highly anticipated return to the big stage, the singer has released a new song and music video for “Formation.” It is the first single from her currently untitled upcoming new album and it was produced by Mike WiLL Made It and co-written by Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee. The festive video, that co-stars her daughter Blue Ivy, takes us down south to New Orleans, where she’s slaying the competition, dancing in various locations with back-up dancers in an empty pool and in a parking lot.
Beyoncé is set to perform the song for the first time during the halftime show.
