WatchLOUD & iN DEMAND Offering Full Refunds for Total Slaughter 2014

The night that made history on a global scale for battle rap, saw some major setbacks.

For many weeks, Shady Records and Paul Rosenberg’s Total Slaughter battle event was one of the verbal warfare affairs we were looking forward to this summer. Along with the event receiving some serious name value, co-signs and even a weekly reality show on Fuse TV – there was enough hype for the event to be successful.

Sadly, viewers who ordered the online stream expecting to see their favorite emcees battle on PPV for the first time ever, were subject to some blackouts. Distributor iN DEMAND and promoter WatchLOUD have detailed plans for viewers to receive full refunds in the next 72 hours and another interesting planned outline you can check in details after the jump.

After you’ve watch Murda Mook’s last rhyme above (and the classic floating du-rag he resurrected from the DVD days), we’ve noticed below that Total Slaughter will be having future PPV events. This is definitely great news for the culture of battle rap as a whole, and we commend Joe Budden for being hopefully the first of many legit emcees to cross over and bring more attention to the underground realm of rhymes. We’re also hoping to see events on DirecTV for their next event, which is also half-priced for those who got blackouts.
