Today is a monumental day in hip-hop, and the majority of that has to do with a new effort from the one and only Kanye West. Yeezus is Kanye’s sixth solo album and follow up to 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy . Kanye’s entire promo run for this album was different than anything we had ever really seen before, because it was full of mystery and unorthodox methods of releasing material (see: no artwork, screen projections, etc.). Some doubted whether an album was even being released.
Though the album surprisingly leaked on Friday, it should be no surprise that Kanye is still projected to do big sales numbers in the first week.
