Wiz Brings Taylor Gang to Atlantic
Taylor Gang as a whole have been killing it for a while now. And after five years of independent distribution, Wiz Khalifa has announced that his Taylor Gang Ent. imprint has inked a new label deal with Atlantic Records — the same label that he has a solo deal with. The new deal will not affect Ty Dolla $ign and Juicy J, both who are currently signed to major labels, but it will play a huge role in assisting other artists – new and old – on the Taylor Gang roster. Which boasts the likes of Chevy Woods, Raven Felix, Tuki Carter, Berner, J.R. Donato and Sosamann.
Will Dzombak, one of Taylor Gang’s co-founders had this to say about the new deal. “We are very pleased to expand our business with our partners at Atlantic Records/Warner Music. This is a great step forward for Taylor Gang as we get ready to move into the new year and focus on growth. We are all very excited.”
Also excited about the Taylor Gang’s deal was Atlantic Records Chairman/COO Julie Greenwald saying; “We are thrilled to be partnering with Wiz and Taylor Gang to take his crew to the next level, and welcome them to the Atlantic family.”
Wiz Khalifa and his TGOD crew have been hard at work in bringing fans their first compilation project, Taylor Gang Vol. 1, which should arrive sooner rather than later after this news.
