Thanks to Red Bull Sound Select, we’ve had the chance to hear collaborations between Pell and London on da Track in the past month or so. The latest work to be born out of the program comes from Xavier Omär and Bizness Boi in the form of “Afraid.” The song was recorded in Los Angeles and sees the San Antonio singer tackling insecurities.
“The only reason many of us claim to be a savage or have no feelings is because we’re really just scared to get hurt,” Xavier says. “So we act and play but we’re never fulfilled because we won’t be honest with ourselves. This song is the beginning of honesty with myself.”
The track arrives off the back of Xavier’s The Everlasting Wave EP, and more recently, his video for “Speculate.”
