Would you pay for YT?

The biggest medium for videos on the Internet is switching up game and launching a new subscription service for people who are tired of looking at ads on the service.

YouTube Red will have some perks. For one, it will allow its users to view videos offline. You will also be able to watch videos and play them in the background after exiting the app, something the regular YouTube app does not allow you to do currently. You will also see original programming from partners like College Humor, Lilly Singh, PewDiePie and more. Plus, you’ll have access to Google Play Music, Googles way of shoving that down your throat as incentive.

If you’re an Android fan or someone who will be using it on desktop, YouTube red will cost $9.99 a month for you. Unfortunately, iPhone users are getting taxed because the subscription will be $12.99 for iOs devices. The service officially launches on October 28 and U.S. users can try it free for a month.
