Does LeBron James Leave Cleveland?
We’re obviously picking Golden State to win the NBA Championship, but LeBron James is playing on the deepest roster he’s ever constructed. With LeBron entering his 15th season, it’s no secret that he’s lost a few steps, but is still believed to be most valuable player to any team throughout the NBA.
However, even with brining in his best friend, Dwayne Wade and Kyrie Irving leaving during a summer feud; we’re wondering if he’ll stay in Cleveland past this season. He’s heavily been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers for next summer’s free agency, as he’s rumored to have a likeness for the game of Lonzo Ball. Along with ties to Magic Johnson, who’s the only legend that publicly supports him, James has been moving his sports agency and inquiring on private schools for his kids in town.
Before coming back home to Ohio, LeBron promised a title to the city of Cleveland and had the most memorable NBA Finals comeback in league history. So, by fulfilling his promise and not ending his rift with Dan Gilbert; we just find it hard for him to stay in the mid-west. This also doesn’t mean that he’ll ever come back to Miami, so Heat fans can get that out of their heads as well.
The last decision essentially affects the future of the Lakers in our opinion, which will have a turmoil effect on multiple players deciding whether or not to join him LA – or go their own paths.
