Rip Hamilton
It may be time for the Bulls to depart with Rip Hamilton. It is is pretty foggy what the plans are for the team the rest of the season, as nobody really knows if Derrick Rose will return this year. Regardless, trading Rip is a smart move for them for a couple of reasons.
One, they get his salary off the books and clear space to bring in free agents this summer. Also, by trading Rip they can free up more opportunity to play Jimmy Butler who has been a standout player this season. It is not clear where Rip may end up, but any contending team would love to have his skill set and experience on their squad come playoff time.
