10 Unexpected Things To Happen During The 2015 NBA Playoffs

Blake Griffin & Chris Paul Finally Having On Court Issues

In the past, many have viewed the Los Angeles Clippers as soft with the exception of Chris Paul. Luckily for fans of Lob City, the team has seen DeAndre Jordan have a breakout season in career + contract year and Blake Griffin has actually been playing with aggression to not be bullied around in the paint. Once Blake does this, the Clippers will eventually have a legit chance of being taken serious and winning a championship.

Unfortunately, this will have to wait at least one more season, as they open their post-season this weekend against the San Antonio Spurs. We expect the defending NBA Champions to take this series with ease, even without home court advantage due to the fact on their depth, coaching and Hack-A-DeAndre. Last year, the Clippers were just one win away from making it to the conference finals and crunch-time turnover from CP3 led to the team losing control of their 2nd-round series against Oklahoma City. Los Angeles has visibly been frustrated this season and we hope this happens within the next two weeks for a first-round loss against the Spurs.

This will be a breaking point for them and we need to see CP3 and Blake have one argument or on-the-court fall-out to finally get them on the same page. We love the Los Angeles weather like the Clippers, but everything can’t always be smiles if you want to accomplish the ultimate goal – refer to past teams that had issues.
