2019 NBA All-Star Player Reserves Announced

The 2019 NBA All-Star Reserves have been announced, as voted by the coaches in the league. Though the Eastern Conference played out to be what everyone thought, it was the Western Conference who had the most controversy when it was all said and done, due to the face that the conference is so stacked.

Off top, some names left off the list in the West: Luka Doncic, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley, and Tobias Harris. Not only them but Derrick Rose, who was a big fan vote getter alongside Doncic.

In the East, Dwyane Wade got no love during his farewell tour, with some predicting he would get a nod due to his last season. With Victor Oladipo hurt, though, D’Angelo Russell and Jimmy Butler are in the mix to take his spot.

Check out the names of the confirmed reserves below.

Eastern Conference
Victor Oladipo, G, Indiana Pacers
Kyle Lowry, G, Toronto Raptors
Blake Griffin, F, Detroit Pistons
Khris Middleton, G, Milwaukee Bucks
Ben Simmons, G, Philadelphia 76ers
Bradley Beal, G, Washington Wizards
Nikola Vucevic, C, Orlando Magic

Western Conference

Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets
Damian Lillard, G, Portland Trail Blazers
Klay Thompson, G, Golden State Warriors
LaMarcus Aldridge, F, San Antonio Spurs

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Oladipo is out for the rest of the season, but the coaches have selected D’Angelo Russell to replace him at the All-Star Game.
