Marco Verratti, Italy
Marco Verratti has become an important member of the new and improved side that PSG have formed over recent seasons. The Italian midfielder, who is constantly adding to his reputation as one of the world’s most consistent passers of the ball, has consequently been a regular for the French club. Although his regular position as an international player is currently filled by the 35-year old Andrea Pirlo, there’s a strong chance he won’t be able to play 90 minutes every game, especially if they manage to reach the finals. The future’s bright for Verratti, and the 2014 World Cup could be a major success for him.
