The moment has finally arrived. Tomorrow will see the beginning of the 2014 World Cup, which will begin with the hosts Brazil up against Croatia. The tournament asks a lot from proven players who have played in several World Cup competitions, but one of the other focuses is the amount of young talent making their way to the forefront, and whether potential can lead to fulfilment.
With just a matter of hours until everything gets underway, we’ve put together a list of some of the most exciting young players who are poised to partake. The chosen few names all fit within a certain demographic; they’re all 21 or under and play in an attacking role.
