Adrien has serious problem before upcoming next fight

While having a public feud with Floyd Mayweather, Al Heyman and the rest of The Money Team, Adrien Broner’s focus shifts immediately to his personal life – for the time being. The 26-year-old was currently planning for his upcoming WBA (Super) Light Welterweight title defense Ashley Theophane next week; but now news emerges of a Cincinnati arrest warrant being issued.

According to TMZ Sports documents, Adrien is currently being charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault, for an alleged January incident that left victim Christopher Carson knocked out. The report reveals the boxer was participating in a high-stakes series of bowling games, that saw Christopher winning 6,000 per bowling match – before Adrien ran out of cash from his $8,000 stash.

After Carson won $14,000 in total prize money, Broner wanted to bet a final game of $6,000 on credit, but was declined. This didn’t set well with Adrien, as he reportedly left the alley and waited outside for victim. Also in the report, Broner allegedly knocked Carson unconscious and took money from his pockets before leaving the scene – which was described as “a violent robbery with a gun.”

An arrest warrant has now been issued for Adrien in Cincinnati, as he’s currently in Washington, D.C. preparing the previously mentioned fight. The PBC on Spike bout could possibly be cancelled if Broner’s not allowed to return back to the DMV area next week.
